The Sonoplasts first performed songs from Song Cycle live at the Nest in 2022: an album commissioned to celebrate 30 years of Talking Birds, and a gig which was beautifully characterised as “playful, profound, a gentle shout of joy, a reset of the soul.”

By way of a Fanfare, the complete Song Cycle album, start to finish, landed on the music platforms as of 31.12.23. Thanks to all our brilliant contributors. You can listen to the whole album here, or scroll down to choose individual tracks and find out a bit about the writers.

Three musicians on stage, a man in repose with a violn, a woman and a man behind a keyboard, all with music stands and bunting overhead.

The last few remaining Limited Edition prints of the Song Cycle album Artwork by Lotte Tophill are available to order here (along with a complete download of the album, or optional CD).

More recently Anthony worked on our MusGuided Tour for the reopening of Warwick’s Market Hall Museum. His books include Weatherman and Jack and Sal. 🎧 → https://ffm.to/6a9qdqo
